September 2012
Regular 7pm Meeting, September 12th:
George Y. Wu, MD, Ph.D. will present "News in the Treatment of HCV." Later this meeting, our Liver Lifers walk team will review details of our participation in ALF Liver Life Walk 2012 on Sept. 23rd in East Hartford.
Future 2013 meetings:
October 10:Join us with our HCV advocacy discussions since last meeting. Results of Liver Life Walk 2012 will also be reviewed.
November 10: After the elections, and in celebration of Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving, join us in discussions about our troops and HCV.
December 12:Besides the Facilitator(s) annual election, join our holiday celebrations.
January 9, 2013: Bring in the New Year with us, hearing about the HCV basics and making plans for 2013.
February 13, 2013: This month discussions will include information about organ donation in honor of National Donor Day.
March 13, 2013: In celebration of National Nutrition Month, join us in our discussions about healthy diets and HCV.
Prospects for 2012-2013 meetings:
Transplant surgeon, attorneys, psychiatry professional, massage therapy education and treatment experiences are some of the ideas on the table.
