Regular 7pm Meeting on September 10th:

We are fortunate to have Dr. George Y. Wu make a presentation on UConn trial information and about the progression of drugs in the pipeline for hepatitis C in the immediate and long term future.
Future 2008 Meetings

The Sunday after our meeting, on September 14, 2008 at 9:30am at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, WE join with the American Liver Foundation by participating in the LiverWalk '08, now know as Liver Life Walk 2008 with our continuing team, LIVER LIFERS. Storrs Steve 2008 story installment 4 of 6, Treatment and Results , lets us know how he did in treatment as part of our frank discussion series from members, associates and friends, Frankly Speaking.

October 8th will be roundtable discussions and November 12th is TBD. Bring nominees for the position of facilitator(s) to be voted upon at the beginning of the December 2008 meeting.

December 10th, after a brief facilitator vote, will be the Annual Holiday party where we plan LIVERing it up. Join us for a new twist on our holiday festivities.
Prospects for additional meetings:

A Naturopathic Doctor, Connecticut Attorneys, psychiatry professional, a medical presentation on HIV/HCV co-infection issues and a relaxational meeting, especially targeting Relapsers and Non-Responders (RNR) using alternative therapies.
