Regular Meeting on July 9th:
July 9 will be an open forum roundtable discussion and, being Hemochromatosis Awareness Month, include information about iron disorders. We will also review newly available, affordable, adult health insurance coverage that may have been out of reach for uninsured, those between jobs, young adults no longer under parents policy, early retirees, etc.
This month will additionally confirm CHCgroup Annual LiverFest '08 summer picnic at 1pm on Sunday, August 3rd (raindate Sunday, August 17th at the same time, so check the web page by 10am on 8/3/08) at Hubbard Park in Meriden and commence discussions about our LiverWalk 2008 team. Also this month, we continue the frequent expressions in our frank discussion series from members, associates and friends, with the second installment, The Letter.

On Sept 10th Dr. Wu will speak on emerging issues and prospects. On the weekend after our meeting, 9am on Sunday, Sept. 14th, join us helping the American Liver Foundation Liver Life Walk 2008 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
Prospects for additional meetings:
A Naturopathic Doctor, Connecticut Attorneys, psychiatry professional, a medical presentation on HIV/HCV co-infection issues and a relaxational meeting, especially targeting Relapsers and Non-Responders (RNR) using alternative therapies.
