Regular Meeting on June 11th:
This month we will discuss summer and fall celebrations, from friends and family events to CHCgroups' Annual LiverFest '08 Summer Picnic and LiverWalk 2008.
In April, Adrian had been certified as a Basic HCV Educator by the Hepatitis C Support Project. Held in Maine, the training was by HCV Advocate Editor in Chief, Alan Franciscus.
This month, we are beginning a regular series of frank discussions from members, associates and friends, with the first article From a Non-Responder to begin the frequent expressions.THIS IS THE 36th MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF CHCgroup WEB PAGE; your comments would be appreciated so contact Adrian with your suggestions.
Future 2008 Meetings
July 9 will be open forum roundtable discussions, including educational information about hemochromatosis and other iron disorders, being Hemochromatosis Awareness Month.Our August 13th meeting will also be include forum roundtable discussions.
We are fortunate that on Sept 10th we will have Dr. Wu join us to speak to the group on some emerging issues and prospects. On the weekend after our meeting, 9am on Sunday, Sept. 14th, join us helping the American Liver Foundation Liver Life Walk 2008 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
October 8th will be roundtable discussions and November 12th is TBD. Bring nominees for the position of facilitator(s) to be voted upon at the beginning of the December 2008 meeting.December 10th, after a brief facilitator vote, will be the Annual Holiday party where we plan LIVERing it up. Join us for a new twist on our holiday festivities.
Prospects for additional meetings:
A Naturopathic Doctor, Connecticut Attorneys, psychiatry professional, a medical presentation on HIV/HCV co-infection issues and a relaxational meeting, especially targeting Relapsers and Non-Responders (RNR) using alternative therapies.
