BRING YOUR CHAIRS, FOOD AND UMBRELLAS TO LIVERFEST 2006 AT HUBBARD PARK ON SUNDAY, 8/20/06 FROM 1-4PM.
Regular Meeting on August 9:
CHCgroup will hold its fourth and final Summer 2006 round table open-forum meeting of 2006. August will include our CHCgroup annual LiverFest 2006, details noted in the Agenda for the regular Wednesday, August 9, 2006 meeting. We appreciate the American Liver Foundation sponsorship of paper goods and liquid refreshments this year.
Future Meetings
September 13, 2006 Dr. George Wu will be giving the group an "update on HBV"; bring your notebooks along with any medical inquiries for this very informative and thoroughly enjoyable speaker and important topic. The 10th will be the 2nd annual Football Walk for Liver Wellness at Rentschler Field; see the link at left.
Confirmation is pending whether a state licensed massage therapist is join us for the October 11, 2006 meeting or the November meeting. In October we will include the addition of any nominees on a ballot for a December vote for a renewable two year facilitator term.
Dependent upon the massage therapist attending in October or November, the November 8, 2006 meeting is planned to be a round-table meeting that will also include addition of nominees on ballots for the annual December election of Facilitator(s) for a renewable two year term.
Without prior nominations, the December 13, 2006 meeting will commence with a brief vote of affirmation for Marty and Adrian as Co-Facilitators, unless there are other prior nominees on the ballot, at which point there will be a vote for the two year facilitator renewable term. Following the speedy Facilitator(s) resolve, the Annual Holiday Party will monopolize the remainder of the meeting.
Prospects for 2007 meetings:
A Naturopathic Doctor, Connecticut Attorneys, psychiatry professional, a medical presentation on HIV/HCV co-infection issues and Irene O'Brien, L.C.S.W. (former Wallingford VNA Facilitator for HCV group there.
